EPTFE Yarn
EPTFE yarn is made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a fluoropolymer. PTFE has a linear molecular structure with carbon - fluorine bonds, which gives it excellent chemical stability and low surface energy. In the production of ePTFE yarn, the PTFE resin is first processed into a pre - form, and then through a series of expansion and stretching processes, the PTFE molecules are oriented and form a porous, fibrous structure. This unique structure endows ePTFE yarn with high porosity and a large specific surface area.

Industrial and Process Filtration
EPTFE membranes are an important component of industrial, automotive, and process filtration systems. Other major industries that use expanded PTFE filters include food, plastics, metallurgical plants, non-metallic mineral extraction, recycling, and pharmaceuticals.
Medical and Biological Applications
EPTFE membranes are hydrophobic and oleophobic, making them ideal for medical applications. ePTFE can be used to manufacture a variety of medical accessories, including wound care materials, face masks, sensor protectors, ostomy bags, urine bags, drainage bags, vent plugs, IV sets, needle vents, surgical smoke filters, and suction filters.
Fabrics and Fibers
EPTFE fiber has high strength, low shrinkage, good abrasion resistance, and excellent resistance to ultraviolet degradation.
