EPTFE protective clothing designed for high-risk industrial environments achieves multiple protection through a three-layer composite structure: the outer layer is made of high-strength EPTFE composite nylon (tear strength>5N/mm, passed ISO 13937-2 test), the middle layer is injected with nano-ceramic coating to improve instantaneous high temperature tolerance (can resist 300℃ molten metal splash, ASTM F1060 standard verification), and the inner layer integrates conductive carbon fiber grid to form an antistatic barrier (surface resistance<10Ω/cm, in line with IEC 61340-5-1 standard). Its innovation lies in combining the microporous breathability of EPTFE material (MVTR>10,000g/m²/24h) with the full sealing process, which reduces work fatigue while ensuring protective performance - after 8 hours of continuous wearing test, the core body temperature fluctuation is only ±0.5℃.

Dual protection of chemical protection and high temperature tolerance

Based on the molecular inertness of EPTFE (C-F bond energy is as high as 485kJ/mol), the protective clothing can block 98% of concentrated sulfuric acid, 40% sodium hydroxide and organic solvent penetration (ASTM F739 continuous contact test for 72 hours without penetration), and at the same time, the filtration efficiency of PM0.1 particles is >99.6% through the adjustment of the honeycomb microporous structure (pore size 0.2-5μm). In high temperature scenarios, the material is fluorinated to form a heat reflective layer (infrared reflectivity >85%), combined with the low thermal conductivity of the PTFE matrix (0.25W/m·K), which can delay heat transfer for more than 15 minutes (EN ISO 11612:2015 Appendix B test).

 

Intelligent flame retardant and ergonomic innovation

Through the synergistic effect of embedded flame retardant silicone strips (LOI>32%) and EPTFE substrate, the protective clothing showed excellent performance in the EN 469:2020 test: exposed to 10kW/m² thermal radiation environment, the material's residual tensile strength was >500N, no droplets were generated, and the shrinkage rate in a 260℃ oven was <3%. The joints are designed with a bionic fish scale structure, and the laser-cut EPTFE elastic diaphragm (elongation>400%) and Kevlar fiber reinforcement increase the elbow/knee range of motion to 160°, while maintaining 5,000 friction cycle durability under the EN 530 wear resistance standard.

This protective clothing has passed certification in multiple fields such as chemical, electronic, and energy:
• Explosion-proof certification: ATEX 2014/34/EU Directive IIB level, suitable for oil and gas platforms

• Clean room compatibility: ISO Class 5 clean room particle release <0.5μg/m³

• Extreme climate verification: Withstand -55℃ low temperature bending (ASTM D746) in Arctic scientific expeditions and 70℃ high temperature exposure test in the Sahara Desert (ISO 105-B02)
