Engineering the Hardshell Advantage
- 100% Windproof Protection: The complex 3D nodal structure of ePTFE creates a "tortuous path" that shatters wind currents. This prevents convective heat loss, ensuring the wearer remains warm in gale-force conditions.
- Extreme Waterproofing: With a hydrostatic head of up to 30,000mm, our membranes withstand high-pressure water ingress, even in high-wear areas like shoulders under backpack straps or knees during kneeling.
- Dynamic Moisture Transport: Features over 9 billion micropores per square inch. These pores are 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule, allowing heat and perspiration to escape instantly, maintaining comfort during intense mountaineering or tactical operations.
- Thermal Dimensional Stability: Unlike TPU or PE films, our ePTFE maintains its structural integrity across a massive temperature range (-190°C to +260°C). It will not become brittle in the cold or "stretch out" under heat.
- High Peel Strength for Shell Durability: Specifically treated to ensure a permanent mechanical bond with PUR adhesives, preventing delamination after heavy use or repeated industrial laundering.
