Technical Parameters

The EPTFE layer is an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (EPTFE) microporous membrane formed by a nano-scale biaxial stretching process. It has a controllable pore size of 0.05-10μm, a porosity of >85% and chemical inertness. It is embedded in the composite material as the core functional layer, giving the end product waterproof and breathable properties (>20,000mmH₂O hydrostatic pressure, >15,000g/m²·24h moisture permeability), anti-pollution/corrosion resistance (EN 14325) and extreme environmental adaptability (-200℃ to +260℃), and is widely used in filtration, protection, energy and electronic packaging fields.

​Precision pore size control​

​​​Gradient pore size design​: 0.05μm (virus/particle barrier layer) → 0.2μm (gas/liquid separation layer) → 5μm (support guide layer), suitable for ultra-precision filtration scenarios (such as semiconductor ultrapure water).
​Intelligent response channel​: Humidity/temperature triggers dynamic opening and closing of pore size (moisture permeability increases by 50% when humidity>70%), maintaining microenvironment stability (ISO 7730 thermal comfort index <0.5).

 

​Multifunctional composite integration​

​​​​Enhanced composite process​: Composited with aramid (tear resistance), carbon fiber (conductive), and aerogel (thermal insulation), achieving tensile strength>100MPa (ASTM D638) and thermal conductivity<0.02W/m·K (ASTM C177).
​Self-repair function​: Pre-embedded microcapsules (siloxane/polyurethane), automatically release repair agent after membrane damage, and recovery rate>95% (ASTM D7250).

 

​Tolerance to extreme environments​

​Anti-radiation aging: Strength retention after 100kGy γ-ray irradiation is >90% (ASTM D638), suitable for nuclear industry/aerospace scenarios.
​Anti-chemical corrosion: Resistant to 98% sulfuric acid, 40% hydrofluoric acid (EN 374-1, penetration time >24 hours), resistant to electrolyte (lithium battery packaging).
