Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (EPTFE) is formed into a 0.1-5μm closed-cell-open-cell composite structure through a nanoscale biaxial stretching process. Combined with ultra-low thermal conductivity (<0.02W/m·K, ASTM C177) and infrared reflectivity (>90%, wavelength 8-14μm), it achieves a dual insulation mechanism of static air temperature locking and dynamic thermal radiation shielding, and is suitable for extremely low temperature (-60℃) to high temperature (+200℃) environments.
Product Advantages
Nano-level thermal management
Gradient pore structure: 0.1μm closed pores in the outer layer reflect infrared rays, 1μm mixed pores in the middle layer block heat convection, and 5μm open pores in the inner layer are moisture permeable and sweat-wicking (moisture permeability>8,000g/m²·24h).
Aerogel composite: EPTFE and silica aerogel fiber composite (thermal conductivity <0.015W/m·K), 3mm thickness can replace 40mm down layer.
Adaptation to extreme environments
Ultra-low temperature brittle crack resistance: no cracks when bent at -60℃ (ASTM D2136), better than traditional PU foam (hardening at -30℃).
High temperature flame retardant: LOI>30% (EN 13501-1), 1,000℃ flame contact for 10 seconds inner layer temperature rise <25℃.
Lightweight and durable
Weight optimization: EPTFE substrate <80g/m², total composite insulation layer <300g/m² (50% lighter than down).
Self-cleaning surface: Nano-fluorosilicone coating (contact angle >150°), resistant to snow/oil penetration, washing cycle extended by 3 times.
