EPTFE nano-coated fabric is a composite material that constructs a nano-scale functional coating on the surface of EPTFE microporous membrane by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) or sol-gel method, achieving super hydrophobic (contact angle>150°), antibacterial (>99.9% antibacterial rate) and self-cleaning (pollutant removal rate>95%) functions, while maintaining>15,000g/m²·24h moisture permeability (ASTM E96)​ and>30,000mmH₂O hydrostatic pressure (ISO 811)​. It is specially designed for high-end outdoor equipment, medical protection and industrial filtration, and meets the Bluesign® environmental certification and ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards.

Nano-functional coatings

​​​Super-hydrophobic surface: Silica/fluorocarbon nanoparticle composite coating (contact angle > 150°), rainwater self-cleaning efficiency > 95% (ASTM D6547).

Photocatalytic antibacterial: Nano-titanium dioxide (TiO₂) coating decomposes organic matter under UV (VOC removal rate > 90%, ISO 16000-6).

 

EPTFE substrate reinforcement

Gradient pore size structure: The outer layer of 0.1μm nano-coating blocks pollutants, the middle layer of 0.5μm EPTFE membrane is breathable, and the inner layer of moisture-absorbing fibers conducts sweat.

Anti-wear life: Nano-alumina (Al₂O₃) reinforced coating, Martindale wear resistance > 100,000 times (EN 530), 3 times beyond the traditional PTFE membrane.

 

​Intelligent response characteristics​

​​Thermosensitive breathability: PNIPAM thermosensitive gel coating (LCST 32℃), moisture permeability increased by 50% at high temperature (>35℃), and windproofness maintained at low temperature.
​pH-sensitive color change: Loading pH-sensitive dyes (such as bromocresol green) to monitor chemical leaks in real time (pH 2-12 color gradient).
