Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (EPTFE) forms a microporous structure (pore size 0.1-5μm) through a nano-scale biaxial stretching process. Its heat-sealing performance is achieved through a composite hot-melt adhesive layer (such as PUR/EVA/TPU) or surface fluorination modification. While maintaining the inherent properties of EPTFE (breathable/waterproof/chemical resistance), the material is given controllable heat-sealing strength (>30N/cm) and low-temperature heat-sealing ability (100-150℃), which is suitable for high-speed automated production needs.

Low-temperature and high-efficiency heat sealing
Fluorinated surface modification: Plasma activates the EPTFE surface, and the heat sealing temperature is reduced to 80-120℃ (traditional PTFE requires >300℃), which is suitable for low-temperature substrates such as PE/PP.
High-speed production line compatibility: Heat sealing time <1 second (ASTM F2029), supporting 60 meters per minute roll-to-roll production (width 3.2m).
Structural-functional integration
Micropore protection technology: Hot melt adhesive dot matrix coating (coverage <15%) to avoid clogging EPTFE micropores, and moisture permeability maintenance rate >90%.
Fatigue-resistant sealing: After 10,000 bends, the heat sealing strength retention is >95% (ASTM D2176), which is suitable for dynamic wear scenarios.
Adaptation to extreme environments
High-temperature sterilization resistance: After 121℃/30min high-pressure steam sterilization, the heat sealing strength decay is <3% (ISO 11607-1).
Anti-low temperature embrittlement: No cracking at the heat-sealed interface at -50°C (ASTM D2136), meeting the needs of polar/aviation equipment.
