- Resistance to "Wetting Out": Standard ePTFE is hydrophobic (repels water) but can be penetrated by oils. Our oleophobic grade achieves an Oil Rating of 6–8, ensuring that lubricants, fuels, and cleaning agents bead up and roll off the surface.
